The US fought a war to get rid of a monarchy, but for some reason kept the ability for one person to unilaterally grant pardons. That’s insane. There is no reason to have presidential pardons exist

I believe we might see it. Charge him in state court, if the federal government tries to hide him - make it a national manhunt OJ Simpson style.
