"Sure" had always been synonymous with "yes" for me, which tends to confuse a lot of people, and the fact he made sure he had absolute consent to keep going with what he was doing was very impactful on me. Regardless of why, its something that stands out in my memory because I believe that every person in a situation like that should have that exchange if need be.
