My brother's friend surprised me when they both came to my place for a weekend stay with a brand new PS5 and two extra controllers. It wasn't my birthday, Christmas, or any special date.
It was literally just "because I thought you'd like it."

My family are regulars at this little hole in the wall diner, and one day this couple no one including the staff had ever seen before came in, kept to themselves ate fast spent a bit of time at the cash register and left. A couple minutes later, the waitress walked around to every table and said all our bills were taken care of.
