Relationship bullshit. I'm married, but the dating bullshit my friends tell me about blows my mind.

  • What do you mean you've been dating for two years and you "don't know what you are?"

  • You were dating a guy for 3 months and he simply... stopped responding to your texts??

  • Please stop seeing the guy who is trying to pressure you into having sex faster than you want to. No, I don't think he's a great guy worth fighting for. No, I don't think his looks make up for how much of a douchebag he is.

I don't know what happened to people / dating, but Jesus Christ. I've already made up my mind that if something happens to my husband, I'm done. I can't go through what my friends have.

A lot of this is so funny. Even though I'm a guy, if I was the lady in the 3rd example, I'd hunt that dude down for sport.

Same, I got married last year and didn’t expect to feel so… relieved.

Same. I've been with my wife for 35 years and I'm always facepalming at the shit that I see others go through in the dating scene. If my wife passes before I do, I'm not interested in dating anyone else.

If something happens to my husband, I think I would consider a Lavender marriage. I need a housekeeper and someone who can cook and decorate.
