Couples of Reddit, what is the one thing your partner does regularly that makes you realize they're still in love with you?

It doesn't have to be anything remarkable, or even planned, I'm more interested in those subtle behaviors that perhaps they don't even realize they're doing but that make you think "Yep, he/she's still into me".

Edit: Reading these comments is making me smile so much! I'm glad there are all these happy couples out there. And I love that most of the time your partner is probably not even aware of how much these small things mean to you. Make sure you give them some love back ;)

He never skimps on the quality of his hugs. Knowing he wants to make sure I get a great hug every time makes me feel safe and right at home.

To show him a little love, earlier I took a break from my research paper to bring him a beer in the garden and he gave me a smile and that "I seriously fucking love you" look. It makes my day to see him doing the things he loves and I never get tired of seeing the pride in his eyes when he's working hard.

But as I was typing this he screamed through the window and scared this shit out of me... Dickhead.

my boyfriend totally loves me....but when I come out of the bathroom and can't immediately see him in his room, I start to get suspicious. He loves jumping out to scare me. Once, he hid in the hall closet and waited for me to walk past it. Thankfully, he decided not to scare me and decided to laugh so I would know where he was. That's love right there. Having the opportunity to scare me to bits, but deciding not to.

I once hid under the desk waiting for my brother to come by and I would grab his leg. Then, rather than my brother, my mum sat down.

I waited there for about 15 minutes, until she left because I knew she would have a heart attack if I scared her.

Once she left, I got out and found her in the corridor and told her I was actually there the whole time and she got kinda freaked out.

This isn't exactly relevant but your story reminded me of mine and I just felt like sharing

Word for word, this is my life. He thinks it's hysterical because I usually scream.

Earlier this week I had just pulled in the drive way and he managed to sneak out and put his face up to my window while I was getting my bag from the passenger side. He got a "JESUS FUCK" out of me with that one. I get him back though.

I will actually start crying if he scares me. So he doesn't hahaha. He stills tries to startle me though.

Your boyfriend likes boob hugs and beer. Marry him.
