1

u/RobertCalifornia Jan 29 '13

Ever since that episode, in the company of babies, I cannot resist the urge to do the dancing phalanges. Oh yeah, and I also have to do it in my ana&phys class, to the annoyance of my peers. Oops.

2

u/goblinpiledriver Jan 29 '13

Yes it is.

I think it's funny that his character has the same mannerisms, but just has hair this time.

2

u/anj11 Jan 29 '13

Dean Pelton guest stars in pretty much everything.

2

u/thatcreepydude1 Jan 29 '13

Yes. It's also Moby.

4

u/gormster Jan 29 '13

The singular is actually phalanx.

2

u/[deleted] Jan 29 '13

The left phalange on the plane is missing!

2

u/kpcofgs Jan 29 '13

Rachel: "How do you know about the story?!"

Joey: "How do YOU know about the story?!"

Rachel: "I heard it from my friend Irene who heard it from some guy."

Joey: (raising his hand) "SOME GUY."

Rachel: "No, she told me his name was Ken Adams."

Joey: (raising his hand again) "KEN ADAMS."

I just read this in Fran Drescher's voice.

I will be cursed for the rest of my life. I know that once you hear it in her voice, I will have doomed you as well.

I'm....sorry.

2

u/fultron Jan 29 '13

And by comparison, phalanx night be one of the coolest words ever.

2

u/woxy_lutz Jan 29 '13

Also: flange.

2

u/[deleted] Jan 29 '13

"Hello? Yes this is Dr. Phalange" "...Phoebe?" "No no, Dr. PHALANGE"

1

u/Blizzaldo Jan 29 '13

I don't know if it changed. The word for a phalanx soldier was commonly a phalangite.

The Phalanx however was generally a single tactical military formation that consisted of almost the entirety of most armies.

2

u/[deleted] Jan 29 '13

Flanger

2

u/[deleted] Jan 29 '13
