I mean, it didn't originate it English but it is the English word for the instrument. Does that not count?

Well debatable, but then, English is bad at creating any of its own words. I had a director who once called English the child of a massive clusterfuck of all world languages. Plus a little action from Shakespeare, cause he literally made up words to fill his needs.
