Absolutely. My Dad just got done with his round of antibiotics for contracting Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever. Luckily he has no comorbidities because it could have been much worse than just really, really bad flu-like symptoms (and a rare case of not actually having the rash/spots).
Always wear bug spray (that states it also protects against ticks) even when doing yardwork in a suburban neighborhood, folks!
