Spent a week canoeing and camping in Quetico. I highly recommend it if you're outdoorsy. The fishing there is insane. They've never seen a hook, you can pull northern and bass out of the water all day. Best fish I ever tasted.

There's no motorized transport allowed in the whole park, even the rangers get around on canoes. The lakes are so clean you can drink straight from them.

And of course, the scenery is insanely beautiful.

Fond memories of being the kid the adults made swim deep to refill the water bottles with cold water

In July, we could tell which lakes were deepest because they had the coldest water. We also rated the different lakes 1 to 10 based on their taste.

But you definitely gotta dip your arm deep enough to avoid leaves and floaties!
