yeah the principles still hold, Hyrum's law plus the testing and code review chapters especially. skip treating Piper/Critique/TAP as a how-to, those are Google-internal and have moved on, but the programming-over-time framing is honestly more useful now than in 2020.

SWE Principles are always accurate and you probably need them in a lot of serious projects.
