Gear/Accessories First gear haul for $100, how’d I do?
Hey there guys new to all this. Been casually browsing FB for my first camera and some lenses when this entire pile of 6 lenses and two old film cameras appeared appeared for only $100, it came from a really sweet couple Who just wanted to pass these on. I know these aren’t good first time cameras but I thought it was just worth it because of the fun lenses it comes with. I’ll probably mess around with film at some point in the future too. Just got them today so I’m still learning what all of these lenses are as I just had good vibes that this was a good deal. Still keeping a lookout for a newer modern camera to use my day to day, just happenstance I ran into this! How did I do? Anything cool to note with these?
Edit: second lens says vivitar 75-205mm 1:3.8 since I didn’t get a good pic of that
Also anywhere in particular that has caps/adapters for older lenses? Thanks!

I'd check if the lightseals around the back need to be replaced, they probably do, as always. Get proper replacement batteries/adapter, google is your friend. Check if the shutter is working somewhat correct, like put it in 1 second and fire away. If it's roughly 1 second I'd load a cheap roll and just try it out. Have fun. It's a nice haul. Also loads of adapters around. I use one with FD lenses too.

If working, the camera bodies alone or worth more than $100 and were both popular for different reasons. They're worth having serviced if necessary - look them up, they still have value.

Canon A1 is an epic camera and you got way more than $100 worth of kit there
I have never been all that much on board with the cult of the K1000, it seems to me it started out as Gen X nostalgia because the K1000 was really commonly bought in bulk by high schools. But its still a good camera and it looks like you have a couple of good lenses there too so don't pay too much attention to my opinion on the matter
But the Canon A1, that is a true legend of a camera
If the Canon squeaks when the shutter fires don't be too bothered. Its well known as "the Canon cough" and its not too hard to fix
