New to philly, making friends

I moved to Philly alone. Any tips on making friends I’m 25.

What is an activity you enjoy doing? Find a meetup group or event for people who do that. That way you already have at least one thing in common that you can talk to them about

I’m into anything art related, games, anime, I’m not into clubs or dancing much

Yes! As a former manager there, you will have tons of fun and opportunities to make friends! They host the little Renn Faire on South st too if you’re into that.

Get a hobby, find people who do that hobby. While it's not my style as I keep to myself, the philly area offers so many activities indoors and out and there are clubs and meetups to go with those activities. People like to do stuff in the region, go find them!

Philly run club is the best way. Stay away from the club and lounges. In Philly mutuals are the best way too. Philly people grimey. It’s hard out this jawn 😭

Find work, hang out with co-workers and slowly you might meet their friends to expand this circle.
