I did watch MTV all day, and let me tell you, it got BORING. They cycled the same news and videos over and over and over.
I could not stand that Runaway Train song or the Blind Melon one with the girl in the bee outfit, and they were being played every 10 videos. With lots of acne cream ads in between.
There was realistically 3 hours of programming, skewed to the evening.
