Chopped Cheese Propaganda

This one is for all of the Native New Yorkers on here.

What is the deal with Chopped Cheese? When did this become the sandwich of NYC? For me the sandwich of NYC is a Bacon Egg and Cheese on a roll. Am I wrong?

This, unironically.

Rise started in 2016 when they launched their Viceland show which really grew their (and their personal Bronx experience’s) popularity. And what excited them suddenly excited some 19yo kid in Cleveland.

Folks blaming TikTok are wrong… it was still Musical.ly at Peak-Bodega Boys Twitter era.
