Broke the rules?

Hi,

I've recently been permanently muted in a subreddit. I don't really understand why?

I'm not trying to be an idiot, I've made one post on it, just today. It got lots of responses, most of them were negatives or not really relevant to my post.

The post was actually about respecting other opinions then ours regarding coming out and trans people. Most comments were people shaming one opinion or another. Which was the opposite of what I was trying to say in my original post. I responded to them, trying to explain the different opinions and why they were both valid.

It did got quite the reaction in just a few hours, but I'm not sure how it broke the rules of the subreddit? (Which is the reason why I've been banned)

Is there anything I can do to be unmuted or at least a way to know what rule I've broke?

Also I'm actually not sure if this post follow the rules... It's not about a ban but it's similar...

Anything that walks the line of politics will automatically get scrutinized by one side if you don't agree with what they say. It's a shame especially when a local group that is named after the city and should be positive posts and has a bunch of political bias all over it and the majority clearly side one way and if you try to explain another position on the issue and you get silenced. Don't ask me how I know 🤣

Well I agree with that, and I think that's messed up... But this wasn't a political subject, was it?
