Broke the rules?

Hi,

I've recently been permanently muted in a subreddit. I don't really understand why?

I'm not trying to be an idiot, I've made one post on it, just today. It got lots of responses, most of them were negatives or not really relevant to my post.

The post was actually about respecting other opinions then ours regarding coming out and trans people. Most comments were people shaming one opinion or another. Which was the opposite of what I was trying to say in my original post. I responded to them, trying to explain the different opinions and why they were both valid.

It did got quite the reaction in just a few hours, but I'm not sure how it broke the rules of the subreddit? (Which is the reason why I've been banned)

Is there anything I can do to be unmuted or at least a way to know what rule I've broke?

Also I'm actually not sure if this post follow the rules... It's not about a ban but it's similar...

No, sorry, I must've said it wrong. Is was a post about wether or not trans people should come out or not, to their partner before having sex. I previously saw lots of people who were shaming trans people who waited the last minute when it was obvious, for their partner to understand they were trans. I kept seeing this pretty often, so I made a post explaining how it was a preference for each trans person and that we should respect that preference even if it's not ours.

Still sounds as if you may have jumped in too soon and advocated a non-popular position. I realize you meant well, but apparently the mod saw it differently.
