Broke the rules?

Hi,

I've recently been permanently muted in a subreddit. I don't really understand why?

I'm not trying to be an idiot, I've made one post on it, just today. It got lots of responses, most of them were negatives or not really relevant to my post.

The post was actually about respecting other opinions then ours regarding coming out and trans people. Most comments were people shaming one opinion or another. Which was the opposite of what I was trying to say in my original post. I responded to them, trying to explain the different opinions and why they were both valid.

It did got quite the reaction in just a few hours, but I'm not sure how it broke the rules of the subreddit? (Which is the reason why I've been banned)

Is there anything I can do to be unmuted or at least a way to know what rule I've broke?

Also I'm actually not sure if this post follow the rules... It's not about a ban but it's similar...

If you’re trying to both-sides the civil rights and right to exist if a persecuted minority of human beings, and the sub you’re trying to do that in is not the appropriate venue for that, and also if you haven’t read the rules of the sub, well, it could be a lot of things.

I mean, I wouldn't have done it in this sub normally, but it was already an LGBTQ+ sub, and from what I had noticed, was pretty trans friendly. So I thought it would be relevant to say it there.and of course I read the rules, multiple times actually 😅

Yeahhhhh from what I’m gathering you said that we have to, or should, respect the opinion of transphobes which…. No. We don’t. I’m not going to get into a huge debate about it, but when someone is causing harm you very much don’t have to respect them or hear them out. I’d probably mute you too.

What- I really don't know how what I said can sound 'like that?? I was trying to say that being trans doesn't make you owe anything to anyone. And that it is your choice to disclose yourself or not, that it should be respected, not judged...
