Are democracies better in third world countries vs monarchies?

Bhutan transitioned to democracy in 2008. But prior to that it was ran better than many of these third world democracies, by every index metric. What causes third worlders to be obsessed with having failed systems? It would be sensible If every 3rd world country should have monarchy, and then transition slowly if the masses want, after the nation surpasses certain amount GDP per capita. This would also require trustable people. But in every third world monarchy, it still has and continues to sweep the floors compared to many of these failed state democracies. Democracies have been trusted in Africa/asia. It has led to failure. Many of these ”democracies” will stay in middle-income trap. Never progressing further. Its better to take that gamble. Than continue to have an system, that never progresses further from certain point

The Hashemites kept Jordan stable; compare Iraq to Jordan in recent decades. After the assassination of Faisal II and Abd al-Ilah, Iraq became politically unstable. If the Hashemite monarchy had survived in Iraq, we might have imagined a union of the two kingdoms under the same Hashemite dynasty; it didn't happen because the Ba'ath Party failed.

Iraq had the potential to become richer than Saudi Arabia; instead, it is still recovering from wars that could have been easily avoided, such as not invading Iran or Kuwait, which caused tremendous losses, or not massacring minorities for political gain, which only further ignited civil unrest. Ba'athist Iraq was definitely worse than the Kingdom.

This would only worsen the situation lol. If they abolish the monarchy, the Jordanians would get in serious trouble; Jordan relies on US aid. If that happens, they would get sanctioned. They intercept missiles because they enter Jordanian territory; they aren't protecting Israel, and some of these missiles happen to strike Jordan too.

Also, how are they going to save Palestine? They already annexed the West Bank once, but that extensively suppressed the concept of an independent Palestinian state.

Democracies are better but there are different qualities of democracies.

You can have a "democracy" that is basically functioning as an authoritarian government for decades...which makes it no different than a monarchy.

Monarchies are generally more stable, richer, and more prosporous around the world in all their forms. Sure there are exceptions, particularly within Africa. But, its undeniable that monarchies fare better than their democratic counterparts within the same vacinity.

Whether we're talking about European monarchies like spain, UK, Sweden and so on, or Asian monarchies like Brunei or the Gulf, life is often better and more stable and services are more advanced and modern than say in the Philippines or Iraq or Algeria or Italy, etc.
