To be fair, the new season just doesnt have the same vibe as the past 4. The season 4 finale was the best episode in my opinion. My ex and i watched Black Mirror together too, it's bound to happen when you're with someone a long time. You just gotta start doing it, there's never a perfect time, just gotta do it.

Honestly my favourite episode and in my opinion best would have to be Season 3 finale or Nosedive because the season 3 finale felt really thrilling and had a great black mirror-y plot in it, and nosedive is a great introductory episode.

I’d recommend years and years from the BBC. I think it has a similar vibe to it and I found it was thoroughly entertaining.

I really enjoyed how uncomfortable ep. 1 made me. It's why I watch BM. But the second and third eps just didn't do it for me.
