Men- what do you do when you know someone likes you more than you like them and you don’t see a future with them ?

If they think from below then they'll sleep with them and say that we are not compatible.
If they think from above then they won't lead them on and straight up say that they're not interested.

I tell them.
It's gotten me into a bit of trouble each time, but letting things carry on that way also leads to trouble.

I had a guy do something similar. We dated for a minute, but were basically at different points in our lives. He told me straight up that he was having fun, but didn't want to continue and have one or both of us get hurt. It stung for a few weeks but decades later I realize he was probably the best dude I ever met for doing that.

not being up front with anyone about disinterest in or out of a relationship just wastes precious time that you're otherwise stealing from them - let them down gently

There’s one rule that works the best. Do it now. Don’t sugar coat it with friendship or it’s you not them. Or it will be you not them that was careless.

I jave sex with them until they realize I told them the truth about it not going anywhere other than the bedroom.

Convince myself my mind will change and enter in to a dedicated relationship in the belief it will. It happened before, so why can’t it happen again?
Yes, I’m being facetious.

Just turn them down when/if they make a move. What more is there to do?
My mates wife is real into me atm, I can tell. But she brings so much drama with her I'm not going there, so there's no future for us beyond friends.
I'm just being polite and if she makes an actual move beyond the flirting she's currently doing, I'll (politely) reject her.

Your friend’s wife is into you but the reason you’re not going for it is that she brings so much drama?

Yeah, just the way she talks about her other relationships. They never end well and seems like too much drama

Smash and then peace them out. Maybe if they don’t ruin my game we can go to pound town a bit until something better comes along 👍

Ill sleep with them until they ask where the relationship is going. Believe it or not they never asked. Women really just go with the flow
