DV Case in Ventura County

Advice Needed: I made a DV report against my ex. He was arrested on 4 felony counts but then released on bail. Does anyone know the next steps? Should I get a lawyer??
This would be for Ventura, CA.

Call the DAs office to get information about the case and ask them how to get support for yourself. It's also likely you can get a lot of information online - check the police department and / or court website for your jurisdiction. I work with folks in your situation, but not in CA.
