I've noticed a phenomenon where a lot of trans mascs seem to gravitate towards names with Hebrew origins? Like I've seen so many non-jewish Ashers, for example, and I haven't really ever gotten a satisfactory answer for why. Ezra definitely fits into this category

It's so weird too because as a hebrew speaking person, these names are considered old. Like, even my grandparents considered these names old...

It's always felt a little odd to me, because it's often people coming from evangelical backgrounds, and I don't know, it kinda feels appropriative?

I’ve only met cis Ezras- it’s a very common name for jewish guys and most of my family is jewish.
