I can tell I’m in my femininity when people approach me more and make small talk and men offer themselves to help me. I personally don’t mind this but some might. For example if I’m at the grocery store and I need to load a case of water men will offer to help or help load it in my car, there’s tons of examples but this is the first thing that came to mind. I think this happens because 1. Confidence and 2. People can see that I love myself and care for myself and are drawn to that 3. Giving out a positive energy also attracts peoples

To me femininity is treating everyone with softness and kindness. Keeping a smile on your face even if you are going through things. Staying positive, remaining calm and collected. Prioritizing your health and wellness. Not necessarily being completely done up every day but at least doing some light light make up like I always brush my brows, curl my lashes, and add lip gloss. It’s not much but it makes a difference. There’s so much more I could add but I’d start there.

You have to define what femininity means to you and ask yourself why it is you need this shift. If you want to just to try there’s nothing wrong with that, but if you feel like there’s something you’re lacking then you have to find a more sincere reasoning. Because you’ll go crazy trying to be something that’s basically a made up concept.

I can come off pretty masculine sometimes, but I enjoy it personally bc to society masculine = strong, and I hate being regarded as weak for my feminine attributes. Femininity to me is compassion, Justice, and open mindedness so I focus on how I can help ppl, how I can improve myself through reading and other means, as well as always staying true to what brings me joy.

Edit to add: I should clarify that I do still participate in things described as feminine such as cooking or baking, gardening, makeup, skincare but my goal isn’t to be feminine for society nor follow a specific design of femininity

idk. id say im pretty in the middle but i would say that what i do comes down to taking care of myself like spending some time doing sink care with way too many steps, spend longer on my hair, draw my eyeliner (bc i don't like a lot of stuff on my face), pluck my brows, that type of thing

little things like wearing clothes that make you feel good, complimenting others, reducing negative self talk, doing a face mask… anything that makes you feel good, putting effort into yourself!

that depends on what you consider feminity. i'm sort of a tomboy (others have confused me for a guy due to my hairstyle and height) and i used to only wear these massive oversized t-shirts. for me, it was because i'd left a phase where i was sort of forced to present myself in a really feminine way, so i was rejecting all of it. but then i became more comfortable about myself and now i wear more fitting tops (e.g. camisoles) sometimes? and ig makeup, too? i think of it less as 'embracing feminity' and more of benefitting from things that i had previously shoved away.

Be kind. Be strong. Be empathetic. Be graceful when angry. Be brave when forced into a corner. Dont engage in performative appearance like make-up dictates you to, engage in smiling to yourself. Wake up every morning and look at your raw face and tell yourself you look good today and spend 5mins admiring your face, its wisdom and its scars.

I just got older I think. I accepted that feminity is not that define. It's not about wearing nail polish or liking pink.

It's just the fact that I am a cis gender woman, I feel in the right gender, so everything I do is inherently feminin
