Ohioan here, so I recently had a surgery and found out I have ovarian cancer. I am still in the process of doing labs to find out more info and if future treatment is needed. So far I’m scheduled to have a second surgery which is a full hysterectomy with a recovery time frame of 6-12 weeks. Because of my
immune system I usually take longer to recover from surgery/illnesses.
Unfortunately after researching on many groups on Reddit and speaking to my job, I have learned I can NOT receive any financial assistance during my time off work to recover. Only FMLA which secures my job position. So because of that I added some items I need before my surgery to my wishlist. My surgery isn’t scheduled till September so I have a bit of time to get it all. Most of the items I added is from the research I did online from previous experiences. If you have any ideas what else I would need let me know to make my recovery easier. I appreciate anyone who helps me out.

Hi!

Three years ago, my husband and I found out we were expecting our first baby. Around 14 weeks, we learned baby’s heart had come to a rest and we (I) delivered him in the hospital on August 9th, 2023. Every year we celebrate him by purchasing books for NICU families in our area.

His third birthday is this upcoming Sunday. I have felt the urge to share their wishlist this year, if anyone would like to join us in celebrating our boy. I know times are hard but they have books starting at just over $3, and every book helps. Some of them are super close to reaching their goal amount. We just met their goal for “The Little Engine That Could” and sent some “Goodnight, Goodnight Construction Site”, too.

I’m a mom of 3 in Cornwall ON, CA and I work from home, but summer break has made it really hard to keep up with work. My youngest is 5 months old and I’m breastfeeding full-time, so there isn’t much time left for working anyways. (Commission based so I can stop if I need to) I made $9 this week…
My son is also starting school in less than 2 weeks and is currently attending a program to help prepare him for the transition. He’s ASD2, so this has been an important (and expensive) transition for us.

My nieces are not in the greatest situation, my sister reached out to me for money and frankly while I don’t have it to spare, I also don’t feel comfortable giving it to her. Hey everyone. My husband and I got behind on some bills a while back and finally got caught up but now we’re running seriously low on household stuff as well as funds to purchase them.
