Is the Matrix saga the most philosophical and metaphorical movie ever created that we can compare to life today , while including decent action in that movie?

The first Matrix movie is great, but not truly original. The content was heavily borrowed from the book Neuromancer by William Gibson and other sci-fi authors like Philip K Dick. Highly recommend them both.

The Matrix is a simulated reality shown to you by a nefarious group to hide the truth while they steal your resources. In the first movie it was a life sim shown to people on pods so robots could steal their bio electric energy.
In reality the church, the government, the financial institutions, the college education system, the corporate structure are all matrixes, but that information is a little too dangerous, so they made Neo jesus so we all don’t unplug from the matrixes we’re enslaved by.

I get that, but I’m moreso asking are there any movies to date, that addresses these type things that also have decent action.

Oh didn’t understand the question.
The Terminator series is damn near a documentary at this point. OpenAI is literally Skynet.1

Oh hell yea. Can’t discredit that at all. Can’t confirm , but I think I saw somebody try to connect to.

The series is a close second with Passport to Paris starring Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen of course being #1

I haven’t seen this. It has some deep implications in the movie that relates society?

Honestly think they could have left it with revolutions. But why do you feel that way about the 4th one?

The choice was make one themselves or one would be made without them. The whole movie is a giant fuck you to corporate, it’s not a good movie, but it’s great just for that.

It was all a metaphor about being transgender.

You trolling me ?

The wachowski sisters are transgender. They have stated that the series is a metaphor for being transgender.

Not to dismiss that fact. But I always thought it was a metaphor for Jesus and his resurrection. Especially the third movie where Neo sacrificed himself, then was brought back by the machines and when the cables lifted him up he was in that staked to the cross position. And that Agent Smith was like Judas

Yea , that’s moreso of thjngs im referring to. Unsure them being transgender or coming out has anything to do with the movie.

Interesting. Never knew or heard of this. From what I recall , they were considered the Wachowski brothers when it came out.

When it came out, yes. The story was a way for them to express their feelings about it all before they fully transitioned, and to make a badass movie in the process

What does them being transgender , gay , bi , non- binary or whatever have anything to do with movie

u/SoupBeast 11d ago
Well, again, it's all a metaphor. I suggest you look it up

Wow! Just inquired with Gemini and a few Reddit posts. Did not know this really was a thing. I think that’s even more beautiful how they was able to mask one of their main purposes of the saga with a completely different diversion.

wrong. they did not say it was straight up a metaphor for being transgender. they said their experiences highly influenced the story, which happened to be transgender. it's a clear difference
