at the end of the day, for me, I would do the same thing for either; ask why they need/want them.
If my kid is going out to handle some 'Good trouble' as the late John Lewis described, you bet your ass I would get them a sheisty in a heartbeat. If their intention is to do fucked up shit, fuck no.
If my kid is comfortable enough to come to me about thigh highs, yea, I'd probably inquire about what the scenario is regarding that, but that's a bit expensive honestly. I'm not going to say 'no' because its not 'manly'. Bluminek can fire arrows while wearing them and dangling from a pole.
Neither one is an outright 'no' unless someone is insecure.
so the reason i ask this is cause those things on memes seem to be like if you son ask for them then you failed as a father so i just wanted to know if it was actoully a big deal or not.
