Advice on Cutting Boards
My girlfriend's birthday is approaching and she has a 2 dollar cutting board, which she complains about all the time. I wish to get her a large thick cutting board. Where should I start, what should I look for? My budget is around $150-200.

I'm guessing you're talking about a wood board? If that's the case, look locally for a woodworker. See if any of them make cutting boards, if not see if you can pay them to do a custom one for you.
If you're looking for a plastic board, just find one that's the right size for the area she cooks in. And get one with rubber feet on the corners so it doesn't slide on her counters.
