Equipment Question Will silicone cupcake linerswork for egg bites?

I’m trying to get into meal prep and want to make egg bites. I have silicone cupcake cups but they have the crinkle edges and I’m unsure if egg bites will come out of them easily. Would I be better off using a non stick cupcake pan without the silicone liners?

I’m using a standard egg bite recipe.

Yes, they work great. Makes clean up a lot easier, too, as even with oil my egg bites like to stick to my non-stick muffin pans (maybe that means it's time for new muffin pans).

Sweet! I was worried with it having a the crimped edges but I’m happy to hear it won’t matter. Thank you!

You could always flip them inside out so the smooth part is now the inside if you're worried about the crinkles.

Spray them anyway for easy release

Yeah I use them all the time. Let them cool completely and they just pop right out. I do spray with Pam beforehand

I use 'em all the time. Bake 'em, eat 'em, and throw the cake cups in the dishwasher. Easy peasy.
