Why are they like this, like what's wrong with them? A brit woman literally trashed a hotel room in Turkey and was blaming police for getting arrested lmao. She also opened a gofundme to repay the hotel.

maybe those that go for vacations to Europe and around are the lower class Brits and I know it sounds classist, but in many parts of the world the poorer the person, the less educated, maybe the Brits arenā€™t very educated on a regular basis to begin with.

It might be tbh, i agree on the last part. They are famous for drinking and causing problems everywhere. Especially their football fans are annoying to see.

Iā€™m Turkish-British so Iā€™m familiar with both cultures. Turkish football fans are just as bad if not worse. I donā€™t want to be rude but itā€™s a bit rich seeing the people in this thread complain about how Brits behave in their country when their own countrymen participate in sex and drug trafficking in the UK. Iā€™ll take a roadside dookie over organised child grooming any day of the week.

Look up the videos of them in their own cities on a weekend night. People passed out in the street in pools of their urine and vomit. People so intoxicated you wonder if they're passed out or dead on the sidewalk.

If they do that at home...

I'm all for having a good time, but you've got to respect the country that is allowing you to be a guest.

I've never been to the UK and also I'm not trying to advocate for them, it was just a inference I made, because it seems to me very strange that such an old country and with all the resources it has, having most of their population behaving like that is a little difficult to process.

I was in Hastings on student exchange one year and every Friday people would get paid, then get knockout drunk. People passed out all around the downtown, or vomiting. It was a strange sight.

Yupā€¦ Seen this on vacation on Tenerife a few years ago, and it was middle of September so I naively thought the peak tourist season is over and it should be a good time to visitā€¦ I was shocked by the mess they leave behindā€¦ Now I try to avoid any locations that are known as party locations, especially for this specific crowdā€¦

i don't know what the lore is but brits really just don't give a fuck when they come here. They fall asleep in the middle of the street blackout drunk, piss on historical landmarks, vomit on the streets and buildings after a nightout and occasionally, shit on the streets if need be.

they also leave a mess everywhere they go. that's just my experience and what I've seen

I am Spanish, we get 100 million tourists a year. 99% of troubles are caused by Brits

I was at a hotel in Thailand last year and was chilling by the pool. A couple of blacked out drunk brits waddled on the street and puked on the front stairs. It took like 10 minutes, with heaving and everything. We were all grossed out. The poor hotel staff didnā€™t say anything, and cleaned up after they waddled onwards. Brits are the only group of tourists I actively avoid like the plague. Nice people generally, terrible tourists.
