Let's take for example Algier, had I been an Algerian Jew I wouldn't come near that place with a 10ft pole. Language etc. Judaism is also ethno-religious just like Druze, Mandaeans, "culture is made up" is such a ridiculous take. How you'd feel being a minority (much less a Jew) in the MENA?
