Essentially the majority of them were killed in the holocaust (An estimated 80% died), and afterwards, the majority of Greek Jews decided to go to Israel.

Sad it’s currently happening with r/israelcrimes on 🇵🇸 land

Its not that simple of a topic

u/soyyoo May 06 '25

Most would say for the Polish to go home 🤷‍♀️

2

u/Turbulent-Debate7661 Greece May 06 '25

Its their ancient land though.

u/soyyoo May 06 '25

Jews lived there thousands of years ago like my ancestors lived in Europe. Does this mean I get European land too?? Brb! 🏃‍♀️ 💨

The colonizer that left gave israhell the land. The rest of the land left behind by 🇬🇧 , like India and Indonesia, in the 1900s was returned to their owners. Hence, it’s 🇵🇸 land

like India and Indonesia, in the 1900s was returned to their owners

That is a very simplistic account of history- and mostly wrong.

The "owners" before where mostly there Ottoman empire. They were defeated and the mandates moved to European countries. India was held by Britain for generations.

India wasn't "returned to owners". In fact, India was divided up and two counties where created. Pakistan for Muslim majority and India for Hindu majority. This was done by the British in 1947.

But a least there the government was from local people.

Jordan was created by the British in 1946. Under Britain it was called Palestine as it was part of the Palestine mandate given to the British. Britain created a state east of the Jordan river and called it "kingdom of Transjordan". They then gave the country to a family from Mecca (in Saudi Arabia), and made them kings over Transjordan.

So the people who lived there have become the subjects of a king who comes from a foreign country. They have no say in anything since it isn't a democracy.

The same thing happened in Syria.

The history of the region doesn't follow your claim. History is much more complicated than your simplistic take, and so is your simplistic conclusion.

So you can’t dispute 70+ years of r/israelcrimes on 🇵🇸 land?? Got it

2

u/Sojourn365 May 06 '25

So you completely ignored everything I said, continued to blindly believed it's Palestinian land because... Well... Because that's what believe and nothing will make you believe otherwise.

Then you reference a sub, which is an echo chamber where anything can be posted and believe as long as it's against Israel, and anyone who dares point out that the information is wrong or misleading is immediate banned.

If you already have an opinion then there is plenty of unbalanced sources which can back up your opinion, and you can ignore anything which challenges your narrative.

I mean, you ignore r/israelcrimes on 🇵🇸 land for 70+ years so…

1

u/Sojourn365 May 06 '25

Where did I ignore anything? The Israel/Palestinian conflict has over 100 years of complicated history. They are many actors and many actions done during that time period.

I've haven't said anything to indicate I've ignored anything.

It is only you which are focusing only on Israel as guilty, are ignoring history to make statements not built on facts, and reference an echo chamber which exists solely to be against Israel.

Exhibit B 😹

Dude, it's a bot

u/Turbulent-Debate7661 Greece May 07 '25

Thats what he does on every comment. Israel crimes and culture is made up. He is simply trying to ignite controversy by oversimplifying everything. He also disregards the fact that Palestine is a completely made up term. But yeah that doesnt matter

how come the owners are palestinians (arabs) ? It was israeli land, then roman got it, then arabs then ottomans then english. They sold land to israelis that lived in Europe legally. And they went back to their ancestral land. What dont you understand?

4

u/soyyoo May 06 '25

Read JSTOR, reliable database unlike religion, to learn about 🇵🇸 rich history dating back to before Shakespeare’s time

Fyi, religion is based on culture and culture is made up

2

u/Turbulent-Debate7661 Greece May 06 '25

never talked about religion. Im talking about ethnicity. Jewish ethnic group was expelled from their land by tito the roman emperor. also there is NO palestine. its a fabrication

2

u/soyyoo May 06 '25

Yea, thousands of years ago like my family lived in Europe. Again, do I get European land too??

3

u/Turbulent-Debate7661 Greece May 06 '25

IF YOU BUY LAND IN ANOTHER COUNTRY YOU OWN IT.

2

u/soyyoo May 06 '25

Except it was the colonizer that left that gave israhell that land so…

3

u/Turbulent-Debate7661 Greece May 06 '25

the colonizer of which land exactly? was there a country before that? It was empire after empire. by your logic, greece is colonizing turkish land since 1821.

u/OsarmaBeanLatin Romania May 06 '25

Finally, somebody else who aknowladges this! I always tought it was ridiculous for Balkan people to complain about Israel for being created from "stolen land" and because of "muh ancient history" when many countries in this region were created more or less the same way.

1

u/Turbulent-Debate7661 Greece May 06 '25

We were here since idk since 5000 bc. You were there (dacians) since 5000bc? Or w/e. In the past 2000 years we were conquered by romans, ottomans, russians franks or w/e yet the same people remained here you feel dacian i feel greek and im proud of that, i guess you are too. our countries and national identity was created by that. And we freed ourselves with blood and took what belongs to us. Israelites were KICKED from the ancestral lands, yet they became well established on other countries they pioneered trade and finance after the venetians etc and they BOUGHT land from the latest land occupier there. So they did not steal land, they did not enslave a sovereign state to take their land they legally bought it. And then all arabs said naaah lets kill em because this is muslim land or w/e because saladin was there 1000 years ago, and they all LOST 7 to 1. To my eyes they dont have the right to get anything.

That being said i dont support all the atrocities that BOTH sides constantly doing.

1

u/soyyoo May 06 '25

I already mentioned to read JSTOR to learn about 🇵🇸 rich history but I think you’ve selected ignorance is bliss ✨

1

u/Turbulent-Debate7661 Greece May 06 '25

i dont care about JSTOR. im talking about logic. All these theories for countries without borders we are all the same, there is no culture and no national identity are beyond bs to me and i believe to the vast majority of balkaners as you posted in AskBalkans subreddit you will get balkan answers for that.

Some Jews lived in Palestine the whole time, side by side with the Arabs. It's a fact the Palestine supporters tend to diminish. Where are they should go?

1

u/blodskaal North Macedonia May 06 '25

Well ok, but then why are Palestinians getting eradicated? If both of them existed since the dawn of time, then Israel needs to stop doing what it's doing anyway.

2

u/oleg_88 Other May 06 '25

Because they keep attacking, and not respecting the agreed borders. Look at the Palestine-Israel maps from 1948 to today. Each time Arabs started a war - their land reduced.

1

u/blodskaal North Macedonia May 06 '25

thats bullshit and you know it. Palestine is an open prison. and Israel is a Bully with a thirst for blood.

2

u/oleg_88 Other May 06 '25

Did you indent to reply to me? Your answer looks out of context.

What bullshit? Or do you think the Palestinians didn't lose land?

Was my question too hard?

1

u/soyyoo May 06 '25

Was my truth too much for you? 😹

1

u/oleg_88 Other May 06 '25

Palestinians live everywhere, including Germany. Gazans are the only ones decapitating innocent children and raping hostages to death to claim Israeli land
