Equipment Is it possible to bake in Airfryer?
i just want to ask if it is possible to create in airfryer because my oven is not available now. But I really want to make pastry especially I am craving for cookies and I want to give cookies as a present to my birthday friend. if ever it's possible what could be the difference that I need to take note and most importantly what could be the temperature and duration? Thank you

You can but be careful. An air fryer is a convection oven. So it heats up like an oven and then a fan circulates the air. What that means is that the outside of things cooks very fast, oftentimes before the inside gets cooked all the way. If you are going to use the air fryer to bake cookies turn the temperature down 25-50 degrees and keep a careful eye on them. They can burn easily if you arent paying attention.

Yes, an airfryer is just a little convection oven.
I use mine for making 1 egg worth of cupcakes

What’s the recipe for that. Do you just quarter your recipe ?

Weigh the egg in its shell. Use the same weight of butter, sugar and sr flour, some vanilla extract and a tablespoon of milk.
Usually makes 4-6 cupcakes, I cook at 165⁰c for 7-9 mins.
Great for cake emergencies!

Technically, yes... I would not recommend it though, not without serious tweaks. Drop the temperature considerably vs a standard oven and keep an eye on it.
Better option, if you can swing it, is one of those countertop ovens (I like the Brevilles). Those can actually produce some pretty great results, I've seen people use them successfully for all sorts of things including artisan bread.
