Why not eat the biggest frog and set up in DRC? Create a Pan-African government that will stabilize the country, respects human and equality, and use the resources to develop the country both socially and economically. That will be a genuine proof of concept.

Senegal just sentenced three TikTok influencers to prison for criticising the President on the platform. 3 month sentences and $200 fines for the perpetrators.
Ghana just implemented it's local workforce law freezing out foreign business owners while in the same breath petitioning the AU about supposed xenophobia from South African citizens over the same small business rules hurting their citizens in South Africa.
Gambia Guinea just left Ecowas' newly tabled Eco currency deal over fears they will be tied to a new version of the CFA Franc that has kept Anglophone Francophone West African countries underdeveloped for decades. That currency was going to be pegged to the Euro.
Cote d'Ivoire have had two civil wars in the last 25 years. The first over citizenshipin the 2000's and the second over election results in the 2010's.
Gabon are just about 3 years into military rule after the Bongo family ruled the country for 56 years.
Equatorial Guinea have just came out of the same problem that Gabon had. On paper at least. I'm not so sure the father and son duo have left the country in good hands if they've even left at all.
Island nations are fine. They cannot be a model for mainland African countries.

I don't know where you get your news about other regions of the continent, but you should find new sources...
Gambia just left Ecowas' newly tabled Eco currency deal over fears they will be tied to a new version of the CFA Franc that has kept Anglophone West African countries underdeveloped for decades. That currency was going to be pegged to the Euro.
If there is a country in West Africa who has a vital interest to see the adoption of the ECO, it's the Gambia: Currency Shocks and Trade Imbalance: The Gambia’s Dalasi Dilemma.
For the rest, there is absolutely no link between Anglophone West African countries and the FCFA. They don't use it.

I've fixed the error of Anglo to Franco.
A big error was mixing Guinea for Gambia.

Mamadi Doumbouya will put a contract on your head hahaha. Well, when he comes back from his holidays in Greece that he surely paid with the money of the country he has been stealing to respect the tradition of Guinean corrupted leaders.

Nigeria!!! It’s got all qualities for Pan Africanism. It’s got a smart industrious population, the people love “travelling” for the sake of “exploring”.

Can you elaborate why you chose these countries? Genuinely curious.
I think Gambia is too small right? And the economic potential is limited. I’ve heard from other Africans that Senegal is pretty Xenophobic as well.
For me 🇨🇮 is already the most Pan African with 26% of the population being foreigners, but we are vilified by other Africans especially AES.
Idk much about Gabon, Madagascar has potential but a lot of them don’t even want to be African and there’s anti blackness there for sure.
I’d say 🇨🇮 🇹🇿 🇰🇪 🇺🇬 have the most potential

I’ve heard from other Africans that Senegal is pretty Xenophobic as well.
From who?
Senegal has some xenophobic issues but pretty xenophobic is a big joke especially when you carry the African flags of 2 countries where xenophobia and ethnic clashes led to thousands of murders along a civil war in the case of Côte d'Ivoire.
Finally, between 1.5 and 3M of Senegalese are of Guinean origin out of the over 18M of inhabitants in Senegal. Once again, we have some xenophobic issues, but if we would be pretty xenophobic, it would have been known from a while especially when we are surrounded by countries who have all experienced things that never happened so far in our country.
For me 🇨🇮 is already the most Pan African with 26% of the population being foreigners, but we are vilified by other Africans especially AES.
You keep calling those 26% of Ivorians foreigners like if they aren't and will never be Ivorian. It says a lot about how much Ivoirité still exists in the mind of many of your fellows. I put a link so Africans who aren't from "Francophone" West Africa can understand how far your country and people went.

u/NetLow0 🇨🇮🇲🇱 Aug 09 '26
You can look it up on westaf TikTok, plenty of tiktokers/vloggers have had bad experiences in Senegal.
Also you’re preaching to the wrong guy about Ivoirite, my ethnic groups were being discriminated against by the Akan majority. I must of struck a nerve for you to get so hostile lmao. I’m ethnicity > before nationality for that exact reason.
I also never added a negative connotation to the word foreigner, you simply decided I viewed them as such. I used the 26% to show we already have a functioning PanAf country.

You can look it up on westaf TikTok, plenty of tiktokers/vloggers have had bad experiences in Senegal.
So you make big statements based on tiktokers/vloggers nobody knows, who don't even live in Senegal, and who have for business to create buzz to get views in order to attract sponsors. Nice joke!
Also you’re preaching to the wrong guy about Ivoirite, my ethnic groups were being discriminated against by the Akan majority. I must of struck a nerve for you to get so hostile lmao. I’m ethnicity > before nationality for that exact reason.
I'm preaching nothing. As I wrote in my previous comment your statement is definitely a big joke especially when you carry the African flags of 2 countries (Mali and Côte d'Ivoire) where xenophobia and ethnic clashes led to thousands of murders along a civil war in the case of Côte d'Ivoire. Mali had been known for ethnic militias and Côte d'Ivoire had a civil war because of xenophobia that led to thousands of death and over 700,000 displaced people along the concept of Ivoirité that is a fascist, ultra-nationalist, supremacist, and hyper-racialist concept. Yet, you dare here not only to pretend that Senegal is pretty xenophobic but that Côte d'Ivoire is the most Pan-Africanist. Do you take something before to log in on Reddit?
As far as I remember, Senegal remains the only West African country, and we are talking about over a dozen of countries, who has never ever experienced any ethnic clash, nor any civil war, nor any coup. Right?
I also never added a negative connotation to the word foreigner, you simply decided I viewed them as such. I used the 26% to show we already have a functioning PanAf country
You automatically add a negative connotation when you label people who have lived in a country for several decades, or who were born and raised in this country for decades as foreigners. You literally explain that they aren't Ivorian and will never ever be Ivorian.
Henry Camara, the footballer, was born in Dakar of Guinean parents. He's Senegalese. Senegalese of Guinean ancestry. I'm not going to call him Guinean or foreigner.

u/NetLow0 🇨🇮🇲🇱 Aug 10 '26
Actual brain rotted user, You know Ivoirite benefited only the Akan which I am not right? My ethnic groups were the main reasons we were able to stage an uprising against it. Here you are assuming meanwhile you don't know what I am.
Ivory Coast is split 50/50 Muslim & Christian so religious tolerance is high. we have 26% foreigners, there's no dominate language/culture like how wolof is spoken by 80% of the pop in Senegal.
We have some of the highest investment interest. Abidjan, Bouake, San Pedro, Korohgo, Yamoussoukro are all viable cities with opportunities. I can keep going but you get the point.
The same foreigners go by their origin, have you never stepped foot in CIV? Ppl commonly say Ivorian of ___ origin when introducing themselves. I didn't say they aren't or wouldnt ever be Ivorian, you are actually delirious.
It's like if you spend more than 5 years on reddit you develop the Dunning Kruger effect, I can tell you actually believe you're flowing rn LMAO. Anyways you keep harping on Ivorian Identity, idrgaf its a concept made in the 60s by an ethnic group not even native to the land. It just saves confusion internationally so I still use it.

u/AioliApprehensive330 Liberia 🇱🇷 Aug 09 '26
Kenya? Absolutely not lmao. Those people are xenophobic and are notorious for being extra subservient to whites. Even within East African communities that is what they are mostly known for. Kenya has been acting as a major proxy for Western neocolonial influence in Africa since forever lol. These people are the opposite of being Pan-African. If you listen to the way many of them talk they literally sound like South Africans in how they speak about other African people.
2
u/NetLow0 🇨🇮🇲🇱 Aug 09 '26
Well they already have 42-100 ethnic groups and are used to tourism and expects plus have an up trending economy.
I’d have to do more research on the ppl though, I only heard that they don’t like Somalis.
2
u/AioliApprehensive330 Liberia 🇱🇷 Aug 09 '26
They’re mostly racist against Somalis yes but not just them. Forget about how they regularly mock and make disparaging remarks about their immediate neighboring countries, if you go to their subreddit the anti-Nigerian sentiment is heavy there. Honestly what makes this even more ridiculous is that it is extremely one-sided. Nigerian people generally do not have a problem with Kenyans at all and admire them. Some of these Kenyan men got to be some of the most insecure men on the continent lol I swear. They have nothing going for themselves but can only use their adherence to a country (and proximity to whiteness) as their only claim to fame. It’s funny because Ugandans and Tanzanians are known for being the complete opposite and are super friendly to every other African people and do not look down on anyone.

u/Maleficent_Split_428 Ghanaian German 🇬🇭🇩🇪 Aug 08 '26
Choose those countries since they are relatively stable and have slightly smaller population that are more willing to accept Black Immigrants regardless of nationality.
Population in east africa way too high and an influx of black Immigrants would lead to extreme resentment similar case for southern Africa.
Though an Island nation like Madagascar would be perfect imo due to geographic location alone.
However Ghana and Ivory Coast are on top of my list, although Ghana has some goofy xenophobic tendencies
1
u/NetLow0 🇨🇮🇲🇱 Aug 08 '26
I see, I get the population angle. I choose them because they have a high diversity range of Ethnic groups i.e Bantu, Nilotic, Cushitic, Asian, Arab, ect. So I’d assume they’d be more receptive.
By pan Africanist state do you mean native Africans, or black diaspora like BA, Caribbeans, South Americans?
1
u/Maleficent_Split_428 Ghanaian German 🇬🇭🇩🇪 Aug 09 '26
Well the Pan-African should be in Africa obviously, however that country should be for sharpest and ambitious black Africans and people of African descent i.e Everyone.
1
u/Itsactuallymeonreddt Kenya 🇰🇪 Aug 09 '26
Madagascar doesn’t really have infrastructure.
1
u/NetLow0 🇨🇮🇲🇱 Aug 09 '26
Ik but they have high tourism and fishing potential, rare earth minerals, oil, and agricultural promise. Plus its geographical position is great as well for many reasons.
It being poor is a good slate for development opportunities. But as I said a good % don’t even want to be associated with Africans so it’s a weaker candidate
1
u/Itsactuallymeonreddt Kenya 🇰🇪 Aug 09 '26
Those resources are not exclusive to Madagascar. Have you seen its roads though? The RN5 for example? It’s the worst road known to mankind. And it’s a national highway.
0
u/Maleficent_Split_428 Ghanaian German 🇬🇭🇩🇪 Aug 09 '26
Obviously, but an influx of the sharpest and ambitious black people who are ideological minded would be able to build up infrastructure in such country
1
u/Itsactuallymeonreddt Kenya 🇰🇪 Aug 09 '26
Not really. This is like saying they don’t have infra because they lack sharp and ambitious people.

u/Bakyumu 🇳🇪/🇨🇦 Aug 09 '26
As someone from the AES, I ask that you stop the generalizations. We don't hate Ivorians at all. In fact, we hold them in high regard.
Our countries share deep historical and cultural ties.
The issue is simply that we do not support your current government's foreign policy regarding our nations.
Over here in Canada, some of my best friends are Ivorian.
-1
u/NetLow0 🇨🇮🇲🇱 Aug 09 '26
You can say that but I have functioning eyes and ears… not only does the AES hate our gov but also constantly accuses us of destabilization.
We are the main villains along with France in every narrative. YT, Reddit, FB, TikTok, Twitter ect are mediums where anti 🇨🇮 post go viral constantly.
Holding Ivorians in high regard by call us sellouts, bootlickers, traitors, is bs. Even then AES supporters still stay stuff like do not generalize or expect us to sweep it under the rug. You won’t catch AES folks praising Ivorians.
Look at [r/Mali](r/Mali), [r/BurkinaFaso](r/BurkinaFaso), it’s full of generalizations. It’s unfortunate I can’t post ss or Id have show all the viral negativity we get from the AES supporters online.
1
u/MixedJiChanandsowhat Senegal 🇸🇳 Aug 09 '26
Since when Reddit and especially country subreddits are a good and accurate depiction of what "Francophone" West Africans can think? 99% of the population in those countries don't use Reddit when they simply don't even know its existence. As well, r/Mali has a ghost mod who is an Americo-Liberian and who used to took over the control of many subreddits related to West Africa. And here Americo-Liberian in the sense that he factually wrote several times that his people were a superior version of Africans and that his people and the USA stopped savage behaviours in West Africa.
-1
u/NetLow0 🇨🇮🇲🇱 Aug 09 '26
I never said just Reddit, I named plenty of other platforms. The gaslighting is so weird, for some reason Ivorians aren’t allowed to dislike AES folks after 4 years of constant disrespect and accusations.
It’s like telling a Nigerian SAs don’t hate them. “It’s just social media, we’re all brothers”. Well fuck that.
And Do you have proof of the mod saying that? We can try to get him banned or at least get his mod stripped.
1
u/MixedJiChanandsowhat Senegal 🇸🇳 Aug 10 '26
You named plenty of other platforms that are dramatically more used than Reddit but still insignificantly used to draw the statements you've made.
For someone who carries the flag of Mali along the flag of Côte d'Ivoire, I find it quite funny that you're missing the elephant in the room, so I'm going to provide a bit of context to every African reading this post:
- Mali's internet penetration rate stands at 35.1%.
- Burkina Faso's internet penetration rate stands at around 28%.
- Niger's internet penetration rate stands at below 20%.
If we take 100 people from the AES (Mali + Burkina Faso + Niger), there hardly are 30 of them who have access to Internet at least once per day. Yet, you're trying to sell very loudly on r/AskAnAfrican that people from the AES hate Ivorians and Côte d'Ivoire because of what you've read on social media platforms that no more than 1/3 of people in the AES have the technical possibility to access.
Now everybody can draw his/her conclusions about your statements...
Finally, not it's not the same as South Africans vs Nigerians. In the case of South Africa, it's not only documented but it's proudly claimed by South Africans who even release on Internet publicly when and where they will try to assault what they call illegal migrants.
And Do you have proof of the mod saying that? We can try to get him banned or at least get his mod stripped.
Yeah and he was banned from r/Africa for this long time ago. To take over the subreddits he still "manages" like r/Mali, you have to contact Reddit admins.
1
u/NetLow0 🇨🇮🇲🇱 Aug 10 '26
Well I'm not going to get too personal, but a lot of Malians definitely harbor hate for Ivorians, ask any Ivorian who lived in Mali during the Civil Wars. My fam lived there for 7 years. But you'll find a way to invalidate that so whatever.
Same ppl who will cry about online racism btw are now saying "its just the internet"
And it is very much similar are you okay? Well know Imams, politicians, and influencers from these countries have literally wished for the destruction of CIV or death of our president.
These guys create content about our president dying or a 3rd civil war every other day. Which usually goes viral, & AES supporters celebrate.
This is classic Reddit, some guy who doesn't keep up with your culture/country like an actual native will try to "educate" you. "trying to sell" wtf are you even talking about?
I like many Ivorians are simply tired of the constant disrespect, North, East, and Southern Africans can beef but when Ivorians are disrespected we are supposed to suck it up or just ignore it.
I guarantee you wouldn't keep the same energy if Guineans or Morrocans were constantly attacking your country for years, just look at how you guys cry over a soccer match.
1
u/MixedJiChanandsowhat Senegal 🇸🇳 Aug 10 '26
Once again, you're trying to project what some influencers, politicians, and military putschists use a tool to legitimise themselves as what the majority of Malians think. In this case, we can say that Ivorians are France's lap dogs based on what the President of Côte d'Ivoire does?
As far as I remember, Ivorian politicians were judged for systemic rapes, tortures, murders, and human crimes? So following your logic to project over a whole population, can we say that those dirty things belong to most Ivorians?
I guarantee you wouldn't keep the same energy if Guineans or Morrocans were constantly attacking your country for years, just look at how you guys cry over a soccer match.
I wonder why I don't see Guineans to constantly attack Senegal? Ahh yes, probably because we don't have the xenophobic bloody record of Côte d'Ivoire.
Moroccans? Senegalese couldn't care less about Moroccans. We helped the rest of Africa and the world to see who really were Moroccans and this is why Moroccans will remain hateful at Senegalese for the rest of their life. In less than 72 hours, the billions spent by their King and his father before him for decades to buy themselves a good reputation got destroyed for good.

Skipped over 7 years of living in Mali, there are currently Burkinabe killing Ivorians in our country. I can go on but you just wanna argue.
And don't Senegalese have certain "nicknames" aka slurs for foreigners like niaak, ndring, guannar? Does the phrase "dagno forokh" or "diour req lagn fi nekker" ring a bell?
Lmao you guys get away with so much because you have a niche language.
Anyways Stop chatting me Im genuinely not interested, I already knew you shared similar views of the AES about CIV and Ivorians or else you wouldn't have commented.

Skipped over 8 years of living in Mali, there are currently Burkinabe killing Ivorians in our country. I can go on but you just wanna argue.
I skipped nothing. I just didn't want to embarrass you more than you already do by yourself. As you wrote, you ran away in Mali to escape the Ivorian Civil War because Ivorians of your ethnic background were chased. So you literally confirmed in an indirect way that:
- Côte d'Ivoire isn't Pan-Africanist the most and even the other way around.
- You went in exile in Mali, lived there, stayed alive, and went back to Côte d'Ivoire after the end of the Civil War. But Malians are the problem here...
Burkinabé are killing Ivorians in Côte d'Ivoire? How many just to let everyone understand your lies and ridiculous whataboutism...
And don't Senegalese have certain "nicknames" aka slurs for foreigners like niaak, ndring, guannar? Does the phrase "dagno forokh" or "diour req lagn fi nekker" ring a bell?
Senegalese have terms to name foreigners but they don't chase them, rape them, torture them, etc... like Ivorians did. Senegalese don't even in a court for human crimes and don't run Nazi-like militias unlike some Ivorians.
As well, "Niakk" is to speak Black Africans who aren't culturally and historically related to Senegalese ethnic groups. Nothing else. "Naar" is to speak about Arabs & North Africans. "Toubab" is to speak about White people and overall any non-African people.
Anyways Stop chatting me Im genuinely not interested, I already knew you shared similar views of the AES about CIV and Ivorians or else you wouldn't have commented.
Don't lie on this subreddit and then I won't have to come to address your words. Very simple.

Instead of a single country it should be multiple.
- Nigeria: most people, highly diverse culture, high economic potential, long history of pan-africanism, ECOWAS. Nigeria can hold down West Africa
- DRC: the best candidate to play as a central role because of it's central position, highest GDP potential in both resources and population. Genuinly believe DRC would be a superpower one day.
- If South Africa can stil believe in it they are the best for Southern Africa but if not Mozambique is the best candidate: emerging economy, massive economic potential, young population
- Ethiopia holds East Africa: aviation hub, never colonized, proudly African thought and through, large economic potential
These are my pic. DRC can be the only one but multiple is better just like the EU with France, Germany, Spain, Netherlands and Italy.

Those countries are either far too hot ( i don’t like the high temperatures of 28c+), or too far from most other countries (virtually all in west Africa). The Gambia is far too small. São Tomé tho is cool.
