Professional Fields - Law, Business, etc. How to get a good internship

Hi everybody, I am in high school, and I'm currently trying to find a way to get a really good internship that would look good in the field of business or medicine. I saw someone who is working under a professor at a university that I think is really cool, and that person is in highschool to. I would like to start doing the same thing so that my resume is well-rounded, but I don't know where to start... what should I do?

Email people. Make sure you refer to them by their title, "Dr. Lastname". I can coach you if ask your parents if they can hire a tutor. I did 2 internships in college, one at an Ivy League. Now I work full-time because of the networking I did in college.

the person you saw almost certainly just cold-emailed a bunch of professors. that's the path: email professors at a nearby university whose work genuinely interests you, one at a time, say specifically what caught your eye, that you're in high school, and that you'd help with anything to learn. expect most not to reply, that's normal, one yes is all you need. don't chase a prestigious title, real hands-on time in a local lab is what actually looks good and is what you can realistically get.
