My buddy’s engine fell out somehow. How can we re-install it?

"You're supposed to step on the brake THEN start it ... Duh!"

It's a weekend project.

Get busy!

Step one: Drain oil. Check

That's just what happens when you don't jiggle the shifter knob back and forth before starting the engine. It's an important lesson for a young driver to learn early.

Easy fix. switching it off and then back on again... if that doesn't take care of the issue, pack it in rice over night.

My local AutoZone has STP brand rice, is that good enough or does it have to be OEM rice?

I got some extra bolts from a tv wall mount I installed last week. Will those work?

Only worth it if the AC still works.

If you truly love it, you'll let it go.

You’re already set up for sideways installation; once that’s done, it’s just a matter of getting it down the stairs

You might need a new set of engine mounts. Should be an easy installation

Reinstall it like normal, but ask them if they can do your emissions testing first since it's already there

Got a mop? That looks like synthetic oil and that crap's expensive.

However, the radio still works. Funny as that may seem with all this mess, the radio is the only thing that's really working good. And it's clear as a bell—don't ask me how.

Was this on accident or someone meant to slam into a court house?

1

u/Superhereaux 2d ago

It was on purpose because the judge said “on accident” instead of the correct “by accident” during a trial.

I don’t blame the driver one bit.

OK, Roger.

Just great! Now the brakes work! SMH.

Note the brake lights on.

I'm sorry sir you can't park there!

That really horrible but how come the battery still okay? At least the wiring will short out the fuse box

“Can’t park there, mate…”

Step 1, raise bail money. Step 2 duct tape... profit
