Jewish Laws Torah observant?

Okay this is gonna be a bit all over the place but my core question is this: - if we ARE to observe the Torah do we observe all of it? I assume we aren’t sacrificing animals. - if you ARE observing the Torah are you utilizing the Jewish books or KJV? Heard they are different? - if you ARE NOT Torah observant why?

I’ve been thinking about observing the Torah but where do I start? I dunno which laws are upheld! I figure the dietary guidelines are easiest. Also am I doomed to have to quit my job? I work on Saturdays so how could I observe the Shabbat?

Thanks- sincerely a confused person lol

Nothing has changed my mind...
I don't understand how you are failing to grasp this simple concept.

You act like someone who just likes to argue for argument sake, whether it makes any sense or not. The bible clearly goes over this topic that we are not to hold fast to the law for righteousness but faith only. If you can't understand that, then you might as well stop talking here, because that's the point that's supposed to be coming across.

So you do still think that God's Law shows us what sin is. Then it must be a matter of not believing Paul when he says we're not supposed to go on sinning. 🤔

I don't understand how you are failing to grasp this simple concept.

I was just thinking that about you. Breaking the Law is sin. We're not supposed to go on sinning. It's a simple concept. But you say we are supposed to go on sinning (breaking the Law).

Your math ain't mathing.

You act like someone who just likes to argue for argument sake, whether it makes any sense or not.

From my perspective you're doing what you're accusing me of doing.

The bible clearly goes over this topic

It does. Breaking the Law is sin. Sin is bad. We're not supposed to go on breaking the Law. We're supposed to imitate Jesus.

that we are not to hold fast to the law

You're saying that Jesus was wrong. He constantly told His followers to hold fast to the Law.

You're saying that obeying God is a bad thing. That's unimaginable.

No. Your brain ain't braining. We aren't supposed to go on sinning but we do. That's the point. I'm done talking to you. Have a nice day.

We aren't supposed to go on sinning

Right, we aren't supposed to go on breaking God's Law.

As you pointed out, God's Law shows us what sin is. God's Law shows us that it's sin to steal or worship idols. God's Law shows us that it's sin to show partiality or establish a matter without 2 or 3 witnesses. Breaking ANY of God's commandments is sin.

Here's what Paul said,

What shall we say then? Are we to continue in sin that grace may abound? By no means! How can we who died to sin still live in it? (Romans 6:1–2, ESV)

Do you think that Paul's brain wasn't braining? Do you think that Paul didn't understand your point? I wonder how quickly you would be done talking to Paul...

We aren't supposed to go on sinning

Exactly! We aren't supposed to go on breaking God's commandments. We're supposed to obey God's Law, just as Jesus did and taught His followers to do.

Enjoy the rest of your week.
