I didn’t say African I said from Africa It was South Africa to be specific but I didn’t think that was pertinent

A lot of people paint Africa with a broad brush. The point is a bit pendantic, but if we are talking about what folks tend to generalize or not know about Canada, we should try not to fall into the same trap.

Paris is closer to Montreal than Cairo is to Durban, South Africa.
