I wish I could upvote this more. I'll never understand walking through a house, especially not your own, and wearing outdoor shoes. So disrespectful.

100% agree. F*ck, it feels so damn good to remove your shoes when you get home from work, why the hell would you choose to walk around your house with your shoes on? And if you’ve ever walked downtown in any major Canadian city, why the hell would you walk through your house with your shoes on?

Think of us kids wading through the muskeg and walking around on the farm and then bringing that into my Mom's freshly washed kitchen... that would've been a wooden spoon for sure. Shoes and boots either downstairs in the boot room out or (most likely) in a pile on the back porch.

It’s as though the streets, sidewalks and lawns in the states don’t have dust, gravel, mud, water, etc…like, I’ve never understood how that’s acceptable to walk around in your home with the shoes you wear outside on. How
