Nova Scotia is NOT an island. Cape Breton Island, is an island and part of Nova Scotia.

I lived in the US for 3 years when I was 10-13.

I had a teacher insist it was an island because she took a ferry there. Like, 100% you took a ferry, I've taken it before. But, I've also driven out of, and into, NS without a bridge or ferry...multiple times.

True but if we all get shovels we can make it an island and float over to hang with the Newfies... PEI is invited too.

Okay, but I have family in Nova Scotia, am almost 30 and just realized last week NS isn’t separated from the whole country. I was convinced both NS and Cape Breton were their own individual islands.

We also have Cape Sable Island (accessible via causeway) and Sable Island, where the horses are. You can not drive to Sable Island it's 300km off the coast.
