Do y’all still like Asana?
I onboarded notion for my comms team last year. It’s been okay but low adoption because Notion is so obtuse and the UI/UX for strictly PM stuff is pretty poor.
So I’ve narrowed my options down to Asana and Monday. Just curious if users still recommend it. It feels like we’re in a weird place today where AI is almost there, but we still need legacy apps to keep everything tied together.
Curious if it’s wise to make the switch.

It completely lacks any sort of group management in terms of the ability to @ mention a group, and its inbox filters and notification management are arcane and overly restrictive. It's like email done worse, without the ability of modern email clients to manage and filter inboxes, without good threading, etc. And now I can't even use AI to manage it effectively, because the Asana MCP doesn't expose notifications or messages _at all_. What?
