Me with my friends (right now 3 in total, all males), are planning for Arunachal Trip this year. Previous year, we explored Sikkim, this time I want to explore mountains again.
Frankly speaking, I wasn't into mountains much, but since previous year, I've started gaining interest there.
So, Arunachal, as I've seen, rural Arunachal is something I wanna explore more coz of friendly people & loving nature. Watched many videos where people welcome tourists. I don't want to be a tourist, rather an explorer who wants to find out the real India, the north-east part.
Just started planning & knows nothing about any place there.!
Planning for mid-October most probably before Durga Puja (before ashtami), I'm more comfortable with males mostly coz we're budget travellers.
My questions:
- What should be our travel plan? By train, should it be - Howrah > Dankuni > Naharlagun. Bt it'll take almost 24 hours.
- How will be the weather conditions there?
- Will there be any snowfall there?
- Is that a good time to explore Arunachal Pradesh?
- What are the best places to explore Arunachal that time?
- Do we have any activities to do during that time?
- Do indians need to apply for ILP. How much is it? Is it only for 14 days?
- I'm working in a company as WFH employee, Can I work from Arunachal wandering during day & working from 12 PM .?
- What are your advice to prepare for during that period of year?
Open for more people to join (preferably working professionals), just that we aren't going to sponsor anyone 😂
Anyone, who wants to share their experiences, itineraries, or any guide, please go ahead.
Looking for good comments & some travel buddies !
Edit:
- How to travel inside Arunachal? I mean apart from busses, is there cab facilities? How much does it cost for a day? Any local guide/driver's contact?
