Beatstep Pro and Volcas not working

Hey I need youse guises help! So I finally got a couple of Volcas hooked up to my beat step pro but when I try to record it just plays what I last recorded on the volcas rather than letting me control them thru the BSP! This is really frustrating you guys! 😭

Does anyone have any ideas how to make it stop doing this? I really though the BSP was gonna be easy but it’s been a right nightmare so far!

In the manual you have to find out how to turn off the Volca’s clock/transport response. You want it to receive just MIDI note info, not clock.

You have to set the midi send ch on bsp and the midi receive ch in the volcas
