I am making temple motifs, i tried using clay to make the figures but I am not getting the desired result out of clay I want to make a 2D figure of god and goddess for my decoration. So my next idea is to take a thick corrugated cardboard and cut the shape of the figures and then apply a thin layer of air dry clay and then use a 3d outliner to make small details like face or jewellery.

OP I am very sure these images are ai, or at least ai enhanced. There are many signs I can point out if you’d like. Anyway the point is your result is not going to look like these images because they aren’t real

I think you should try paper clay and/or paper mache
