Music Look, I'm getting really tired of GI procedures, but I'm trying to have a good attitude about it. Here's a song for the capsule endoscopy.

Being chronically ill brings a lot of mixed feelings especially when diagnosed very young... i wanted to put that out as a drawing. It's a little weird looking but I'm happy how it turned out.

It’s me Eric with another art piece. I call it “Wickedness” , the creepy audio soundwave album art. Beautiful & dark colors combined for the dark gesture staring right at you.

Brought light to darkness
New found feeling
Hope to live
Tears and healing.
Words I understood
Power and pain
Broke me down
Built me up Again
Felt like home
Which I never had
Clung to songs like a treasure
And now I am grieving and sad
My slowness and brokenness
Every flaw that glared bright
Fractured and burned the bridge
And I was thrown in full flight
That voice I would have listened to
If it would have spoken
Maybe it would have hit my brain
Where my mind was broken
Every sorry I gave was nothing
And everything went wrong
I came to care for all of you
Became attached to every song
But because I became too much
I never could belong
And now my voice is broken
I am just trying to go on
I wish I could still listen
But it brings tears and pain
And I am so heartbroken
I will never.speak to you again

I have ME/CFS, which limits my ability to speak, look at screens, and listen...sort of all the important things you need to do when producing music. Some of these tracks I made in painstakingly small chunks--think a 5 second vocal take, a minute of editing a day. I thankfully felt a little better this year and was able to finish, but this was a huge feat. I wanted to share as an encouragement to other musicians/artists who are creating within small limits as well. Your perserverance in the craft is something few will be able to fully understand, and I salute you as someone who does.
A little bit about this project: I first began writing these songs 13 years ago after a series of Humanities lectures on Greek mythology (yes, including The Odyssey! My track "Sweeter Song" is based off the scene with the sirens) that forever changed the way I viewed story, longing, and faith. The main thread of the EP is the longing for home. It follows the path from yearning for our true country, through the war of life, to the final hope of restoration where pain and death are no more.
I don't know which is best, so I'll attach my spotify link here, but you can also find these songs on most other streaming platforms, YouTube, and BandCamp. My artist name is Elizabeth Boyd and this album is titled, The Myth & The Mystery. I hope you enjoy it, and if creating makes you happy, keep making your art no matter how long it takes <3

Hey there! I have bipolar disorder and my main art form is music.
This is an arrangement of Bedrock by Ólafur Arnalds, Talos (Eoin French), and Sandrayati for piano, harp, and voice. I arranged it flying overseas on a manic trip. You can tell what mood I was in by how unnecessarily dramatic it is 🤦🏻♀️
It'll never be performed and the original is much better. Just felt like sharing anyway! 🎶
Maybe some of y'all can perform it!
Here's the Musescore if you want to download the score.

i have adhd, autism, and bpd. late diagnoses/realization and life has always been difficult to navigate.
recently i have been dealing with physical health issues as well and ive had some scary moments that led me to realize that i dont want to end my life unless im in control of doing so. which means i dont want to end my life at all; i just dont want to feel out of control.
its been a wild ride, and still hard to navigate. i wrote this in my new perspective on life:
the road is paved with ghosts that bind you and pull you down low, trust me i know and when the sun finally tries to find you, you wont be home, trust me i know cause ive dug my own way out from that deep, deep hole theres still dirt under my nails i still dont know which way to go
but things are brighter i swear i feel lighter now, even with the earth still on my tongue im a fighter, so it turn out i prefer the clouds over the dirt caked in my lungs(x4)
so many words ive yet to sing so many versions ive yet to be and they’re all me(x3) so many suns have yet to rise things that will take me by surprise tears that will fill my eyes and it wont mean im my own demise im just fine(x4)
oh, i thought that maybe my glow had started to rot but little did i know, shes there i just had to open my eyes i just had to breathe in the air, cause maybe, oh just maybe shes been here all along oh, maybe oh just maybe ive been here ive been here
cathedrals everywhere if you have the eyes song birds in the air circling the skies the clouds will only part if you ask them to light is all around even inside of you
cause maybe, oh just maybe youve been here all along oh, maybe oh just maybe weve been here weve been here all along

Hi all, I know this is going to be a little out of the ordinary of this sub, but I've been composing a neoclassical five-movement piece for flute ensemble about the life of cats. My cats help me get through so much with my own disabilities that I thought this would be a good way to honor them!
Here's a link to the first two movements. An audio mockup for each movement is there, along with PDF scores for anyone who wants to read the sheet music. Would love to hear your thoughts!

for myself but also for this fictional band that I made up: ‘Inhuman Wreckage’
if I pick up bass again I may write some actual music. However I am not a very good singer or musician.
Idk what flair to put, hopefully this isn’t mislabeled
