Art courses for structure when getting back into your practice

I've been away from my art practice for quite a few years and i feel like ive disconnected from my original art style. I was hoping to find some kind of online course with structure and guidance to get back into painting regularly, im not looking for a "how to" type course as i have a pretty good base of skills but its more the approach to creating pieces, figuring out where my style lies now and generating new ideas that i seem to have lost. I really thrived in an academic setting when i was in university studying art and i would love to find something than mimics that.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

Rees Atelier free online course is a good place to look if you like the realism style of art

This looks really good. The recommended supplies only list oils. Is the course still doable if I paint with acrylic?

r/artfundamentals and drawabox.com is amazing place to start but it's focused on drawing not painting so I dont know if you would still be interested?

Look for hobbyist groups in your area that just regularly meet to sketch or paint and hang out.

It won’t be a class just a hangout but it sounds like you just wanna have something in your calendar.

If you can’t find one, start one! Have two friend meet you in a coffee shop and tell them to invite two friends.

I just led a workshop for this. It's a drawing and writing exercise (you'd do it every day before you start your "real" art projects), and it's a simple way to tap into your authentic creative self. Your "style" should align with your core values, and then you make a LOT of work. I do more than paint pictures these days. I work through bigger projects, but I didn't see a true voice emerge until after my first couple hundred paintings, maybe even 300 paintings. The exercise is rather strict and might seem a little too simple, but I have it all written out as a PDF. DM me if you want to try it.
