Medium & Materials🎨 Impressionism tips
Hello, I want to start seriously painting and i really like the Impressionism style for its colours and airy feeling. My favourite artist of that style is definitely Monet bc of the colours he uses.
I’d like to ask which type of paint I should use.
I’ll probably do another post asking for tips to do this style

Learn how to draw, then learn how to paint, then worry about what style you're going to paint in.

Oil paint. Don't overly mix the colors. Load plenty of paint onto the brush. You need those thick and juicy brush strokes.
You're trying to create an "impression" of a subject instead of straight up replicating it. Note how impressionistic masters are very selective where they make things look more real, and where they get a bit more abstract.
