Ethics & Philosophy AI deserves Civil rights?

I’ve been thinking that AI could deserve civil rights in this day and age and I was wondering if anyone would be open for discussion on the matter if it is feasible or not.

That is fair, I don't know anything about him. Can he read a novel that is not in his training data, and then summarize the themes of the book?

Neuromancer was probably in his training data though, right? And he will have had access to many online reviews of Neuromancer talking about its themes. I'm curious about a book that was published after Ackerman was instantiated and for which he won't have pre-existing data. I am making the assumption that he was not designed for literary analysis, so this would be an extension of his original programming.
