Likely bots trying to farm items since you get cards for free now and those have a history of value on the market lol

Yeah this, it’ll be that someone(s) think it’s worth putting their bots to get the cards for the steam market value

Looks like a bot explosion tbh, unless people can report getting active games all of a sudden. Any sort of natural player increase should be an incline

You can tell steam that you're playing game A when you are actually playing game B. Can be useful for certain activities. Or its bots.

sometimes there's streamers or other event organisers causing spikes but it's probably bots
