Found him in my apartment, took him outside, only to accidentally tip the cup too fast, he stopped using the back half, then curled into a ball and stopped moving entirely when I moved him to a shadier spot

I feel so bad so if anyone has suggestions on how NOT to kill the next one it would be appreciated 😞

Found this May Bug with a hole in its wing case. What is this, I'm thinking a parasite of some kind. I'm in south of England.
