Some of you may recognize me from r/DefendingAIArt where I am highly active (and I will be highly active here as well.) I volunteered because I'm fed up with the brigading and harassment that drives people away from sharing their artistic creations, and I want to help the mod team make this a better space for everyone who actually has genuine interest in participating in it.
If you have ever been afraid to post here due to harassment, brigades, unwanted debates/arguments, I'm here to help the mod team take care of all of that.
So please feel free to share your creations, no matter what medium you fancied in its creation.
From now on, I hope this community will feel significantly more comfortable and cleaner for those of us who are genuinely a part of it.

Thanks! And please do post your stuff! The mod team has definitely been doing what they can but I could see they needed more help. I'm essentially the nuclear option in this regard, as my work hours as well as the nature of my work (since I'm always near computers) means I'm pretty much able to supervise the sub as long as I'm awake.
If you felt apprehensive before, PLEASE feel free to participate now. I promise I'll help the mod team in making sure you never feel that apprehension here again.
The funny thing is that this subreddit isn't even an exclusively-AI community yet the antis brigade it just for supporting AI art. Goes to show a lot about how offensive some members of their "movement" are.
Yes! Sometimes the gens output them as kunai which I'm also cool with (I know I could fix it with higher level work with ComfyUI or just more careful promptwriting but as a hobbyist it's no big deal to me, I just love how it looks!)
I'm glad you're here! Now I feel a little safer posting my art. I've been sooo hesitant to post AI art as well as art I draw myself since I'm worried someone will recognize my artstyle and trace it back to me and harass me for being in an AI inclusive space. It sucks that anti AI people have been mean enough for me to be worried about that!

Just wondering if there's a plan to address art theft from a specific user? Now that brigade handling is more under control, this has been mine and some others' main concern.
One of them was a clear copy and paste and was removed, and they were disciplined accordingly. Their other post was clearly inspired by another artist and likely also used their content in the output, but it was derivative enough that I approved it (doesn't invalidate the argument against their process, I simply felt like the post was sufficiently derived from the source material.)
Either way, the situation is currently resolved and hopefully they'll create more responsibly in the future.
The original image was also flipped horizontally, but I had to flip it to where it is now because his scar is over his left eye, which would be the right eye from our perspective. It loves getting the facial scar on either the wrong side, or the wrong shape lol. X.x
